Glen Rock Library Spring Story Times
The 2014 five week Spring Story Time Session for children from ages 3 to Kindergarten-age will be offered on Wednesday mornings beginning on April 8th. Three-year-olds will meet from 9:30 to 10:00 and Fours, Fives and Kindergarten age children will enjoy their program from 10:30 to 11:00. Please register for this free program in the Children’s Room.
~Julie Della Torre will tell tales of the Lenni Lenape, a Native American tribe who once lived in the area, at the Glen Rock Library in celebration of the 350th anniversary of the founding of New Jersey. The program sponsored by The Friends of the Library and The Glen Rock Historical and Preservation Society, will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 29. Registration takes place in the Childrens Room.
Byrd School Student Council
School & Youth is a program of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). Pennies for Patients is one of the LLS’s School & Youth campaigns that have been designed for schools. Byrd School Student Council is asking students, staff and faculty to donate their spare change in honor of local patients battling leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. Schools and students are eligible to win great prizes including a Domino's pizza and ice cream party! Bring in your donations by February 21st. Thank you for your support!
Bag a Lunch, Help a Bunch® We are excited to announce that we donated over $1300 to Table to Table in the Bag a Lunch fundraiser that equals 13,000 meals?!!! They make 10 meals for every dollar they collect! Great job Byrd School Students!!!

March Lunch menus are available online. With this new ordering system, it is no longer necessary to order by the month or weeks ahead. We expect to post the menu for each upcoming month on or around the 20th of the prior month and will be forwarding a notice to let you know it is available.
